I think that run definitely deserves to go down in the record books as one of the Top Ten Most Epic Runs Ever Undertaken By Mere Mortals. I know that I emerged from the experience at least 38% tougher than I was before :) But don't worry, even if you weren't able to make it this weekend it looks like we will have plenty of snowy runs ahead of us!Here are the workouts for this week:
- Tuesday: Interval workout (1x3200, 2x1600, 2x800), 4:45 at Sunderland
- Thursday: Tempo run (25 minutes + mile warmup and cooldown), 4:45 at Sunderland
- Sunday: Long run/race sim (10 miles, 6 easy/4 at race pace plus 20-30 secs), Sunderland at 11
If you can't make it on Thursday, I will be running the tempo run on Friday -- let me know if you would like to join me.Happy Snow Day! I hope that you all get the chance to go outside and frolic at least for a little while!Adrienne
If you're looking for some more group workouts this week Midd for Play is doing a run this afternoon (Monday), and rock climbing on Wednesday if you'd like some fun strength training.
We meet outside Mead Chapel at 4:30.
Should be a great week for running!
Rob
