Tomorrow is the DAY! If you would like to meet up to go down to the start as a group, we will be meeting in front of McCullough at 8:20 am tomorrow morning.
Also, make sure to pick up your race packets this evening between 5-8 at the Middlebury Inn. If you would like me to pick it up for you and get this in the next half hour or so, please call me at 720-289-2569. (I am about to head down now).
Great luck everyone!
Amy
PS - sorry if anyone showed up on time to go to Weybridge yesterday and found no one there... Adrienne and I both had unexpected conflicts at the last minute and could not be there on time!
"Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have
to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do.
The body will always give up. It is always tired morning, noon, and night.
But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired... You've always got to
make the mind take over and keep going." - George S. Patton, U.S. Army
General and 1912 Olympian
"Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You
don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast them and outsmart them, and
the toughest opponent of all is the one INSIDE YOUR HEAD." - Joe Henderson
"I tell our runners to divide the race into thirds. Run the first part with
your head, the middle part with your personality, and the last part with
your heart." - Mike Fanelli
And no matter what, RUN LIKE YOU'RE CHASING AN ICE CREAM TRUCK!!
Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day. Sweet dreams, and see you in the
morning!
Love,
Adrienne
