Hello all,
I have been trying to combine the cruisers with the racers and I am
not sure where we are at this point. The cruisers have a Yahoo Group
Web Site of http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PotomacCruisingFleet/
I have been in contact with another group from up-river and working on
getting them involved too. Quantico has some boats and they may be
looking to race and cruise along with us.
Some of you may remember that back in the 90's we had a racing fleet
in the area that went from Dahlgren to Fairfax. It raced on most
weekends in the region. I raced with this fleet for quite some time
and it was a great set-up.
Maybe we can get these things in the works to add more yachtclubs and
to rebuild to a larger fleet down the road.
