Just wanted to say hi. I'm Cat.

I've experimented a little with some wine recipies from my
Grandfather. He's not around to help interpret and nobody from the
rest of the family was really involved with his wine making. My
husband is my assitant, he shifts things from jug to jug, keeps track
of alcohol levels and such. I get things started and keep track of
timing. So far we've made corn wine, rhubarb, plumb and pumpkin. The
corn is the only one that's really finished. The others have another
year or so of sitting, but they're showing promise. Now we need more
space to make more wines. We're currently maxed out.

Very cool - some unusual elements there. Though I have seen pumpkin
beer.

Any possibility of posting those recipes?

The plum and pumpkin recipes are at
http://scorpius.spaceports.com/~goodwine/winerecipes.htm , along with a
ton of other recipes. My Grandpa's recipes are pretty similar to the
ones on this website. He just didn't use the campden tablets and
chemical stuff. He also didn't put the whole process, hence the having
to figure out some of the pieces. We're still figuring things out,
that's the fun part.

Reading this email again, it looks like the recopies on that website are
ours. They're not. That's just a website we've been using for
