Please know that Roana Aldinoch IS INDEED a true member of the SCA and the Shire of Wurm Wald. Her gmail account was unfortunately hacked and this scam was apparently sent out to everyone in her contacts list. She is currently working to fix the problem.

Whatever you do, please DO NOT forward any money in response to the scam. Also, please find it in your hearts not to hold this against her, as the scam most certainly was done against her will.

Today, I received an e-mail from this person asking me to wire them $1,500 because they were robbed at gunpoint in London England. Since my recent count has 56 tourists in the last two months being robbed at gunpoint in London, England, I'm fairly sure that this is a fraud. You might want to double check your member list and see if this person is on your list and is, indeed, a real SCAdian and not a Nigerian with time on his hands.
