It looks as though - if we organize as an official guild - any funds
we get will have to be restricted in their use to insure they are not
used to purchase alcoholic beverages, or for the manufacture thereof -
which apparently includes the publishing of recipes in any official
newsletter we might ever put out.

I notice one bit of weasellage here: For instance, this group, and
the site it is connected to, doesn't cost a wooden nickel.

Any comments here from older heads than mine?

From what I remember when Brackendelve was talking about having a
Bacchanalia event, official funds could not be used to purchase
alcohol, but we could "pass the hat"... and if we publish the
newsletter electronically, would there truly be much cost to it??? :)
