In like the mid-2010s I would play this online browser game that I have not been able to locate in years -- I doubt it's still active. It had a lot of different parts to it which has made it hard to track down. I'll try my best to lay out everything I remember from it.
The gameplay was 3d and 3rd person, with the camera behind the player a la WoW. Your player avatar was a person with okay rendering and you could customize your hair, clothing, etc. I remember there was a membership option as well, but I don't remember much of what it granted you. I think it was multiplayer? But I never really interacted with others online when I was younger so I can't remember too well.
The really weird part is I remember a lot of product placement for the Madagascar movies? Like, there was a whole area which was just the zoo in New York City and it had the characters from Madagascar. The penguins were there and everything, I think.
The film tells the story of four penguin commandos - an eccentric strategist Kowalski, a specialist in the explosive tasks of Rico, the youngest and the lowest Serial and the leader of the Skipper group. Penguins fight the secret organization of the North Wind, consisting of the polar wolf Agent Utajnioniego, the Greenlandic seal Detonator, the muscular bear Kapral and eagle Snowflake Eve, to face them with the evil doctor Oktawiusz Mackiewiczowi, who turns out to be a bad octopus Dave and wants to destroy penguins from around the world.
