Dear Laura,   PeopleForBikes is pleased to announce that this year Vermont became one of 36 states to sign model electric bicycle legislation into law. The law officially recognizes electric bikes as bicycles and gives electric bicycle riders similar rights and duties to those of traditional bicycle riders.
