Here's some exciting news on efforts to celebrate and advance skateboarding in Middlebury and Addison County from Ethan who is leading the Middlebury Skatepark Project. Happy and safe walking and rolling, Laura
Hi Everyone,
I bet you are wondering how you can help get the Middlebury Skatepark Project rollin'
Here are two timely and specific ways that you can help.
Please attend our first non-meeting event! Make it a priority to be at the Bristol Hub - Teen Center and Skatepark next Tuesday, June 21st from 4pm - 7pm to celebrate National Go Skateboarding Day. Check out the attached flyer and
make it a priority to spread the word. This is a chance to build community and to see what an active skatepark might look like in Middlebury.
Volunteer and sign up below to staff our Middlebury Skatepark Project tent at one of the upcoming Midd Summer Markets that are held in Triangle Park every Thursday. The sign-up sheet splits the market into two distinct shifts (2:30pm - 5pm, 5pm - 7:30pm)
and we need both shifts covered on any given Thursday to greenlight that day. We don't need to be there each week, but it is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about the Middlebury Skatepark Project within our community. I'll be there tonight if
anyone wants to swing by to learn the ins and outs of setting up, breaking down, and running the tent, but the basic idea is to sell raffle tickets and stickers and to talk to people about the plan and the progress so far.
