May is Bike Month! Enjoy the benefits of biking to work, meetings and errands, especially THIS Friday for National Bike to Work Day. Join the joy of this at the Human Powered Parade THIS Sat May 22 starting 10 am from Bristol Rec Park with a self guided bike ride through Bristol village with porch music enroute. Get zany.

Inspiration: Middlebury Energy Committee member Richard Hopkins posted that they met this week at the home of one of the members and without pre-arrangement all arrived by bike. Last night I biked a loop in honor of Kelly Boe and National Ride of Silence for those hurt or killed and pulled up to Shaw's to find the bike rack blocked by pallets of wood that had been delivered and thought, really!? There was one white bike leaning between the pallets. I leaned mine against it also. On the check out, I said hi to Addison Independent’s news editor John McCright and he told me he had biked (the white bike) and I said, me too! No prearrangement on that one either.  Lovin’ it.
