Mark your calendars - next Partnership meeting on May 30
The next Partnership meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30. Stay tuned for additional information on the exact time and location. All information will be maintained online at: http://midcoastwaterpartners.com/partnership-meetings/.

Participate in Working Groups to assess water needs/demands
We are forming three Working Groups to help us assess water needs for municipalities and water districts, self-supplied water users (domestic well owners, industrial and commercial operations, and agricultural operations), and instream/ecological uses. These groups are busy getting their first meetings scheduled. Information on the Working Groups will be maintained online at: http://midcoastwaterpartners.com/working-group-meetings/

New flyer for outreach
The Communication and Outreach working group has developed a handout that can be used for outreach. Many thanks to Joyce Sherman who put much time, energy, and enthusiasm into creating this. Click here or on the image to view and download the flyer.

Study Group Reports up online!
The Step 2 Study Group Reports are completed and are up online. You can access them at: http://midcoastwaterpartners.com/working-group-meetings/. Thanks to everyone who contributed to these reports, they will be extremely helpful resources as we assess our water needs and begin to identify solutions.

New local co-conveners
At the February meeting members of the Partnership decided with unanimous consent (all green cards!) to bring on two additional local conveners. The two new local co-conveners will help share the workload with Tim (City of Newport) and Harmony (Oregon Water Resources Department) to keep the process moving forward and keep our partners engaged. Please join me in welcoming (and thanking) Adam Denlinger with the Seal Rock Water District and Alan Fujishin with Gibson Farms.

Partner funding opportunity - Forthcoming
The Partnership has been successful in securing two grants, one from the Meyer Memorial Trust and one from the Oregon Community Foundation. Both grants include some funding to help cover the costs of partner participation. Stay tuned for more information!
