Since we really need to attend both the 4-7:30 Partnership meeting AND the Midcoast Watershed program at 6:30, the most practical approach is to attend the first two hours of the Partnership meeting, then leave at 6:00 to drive to the Coastal Rainforests Program. It looks as though there will perhaps be more information available at the Rainforest program than at the Partnership Meeting—but I speak as someone who cannot hear well enough to actually hear speakers or, worse, during audience participation events. Even people who appeared to be able to hear were confused during the audience participation portion of the meeting. I was very disappointed that, following the August meeting, it was not possible to get copies of Powerpoints or the text speakers used. I spent over three hours learning nothing beyond the agenda.

Hi Paul,
We have had the venue and caterer set for a while and have already confirmed speakers to come give presentations for this event so unfortunately we do not have the flexibility to reschedule at this time. The Partnership did not receive a flyer or partner update for this event so we did not know that the MCWC had an event that day. In the future we do allow time for partner updates in all three working group meetings, partnership meetings and you can send flyers and updates to con...@midcoastwaterpartners.com or email me at alexa...@midcoastwaterpartners.com as well. Partner updates that are emailed in can be incorporated into to our monthly email blasts which is an excellent networking tool moving forward. My sincerest apologies for this time conflict, I hope that as the collaborative continues to try to create networks that it will foster the sharing information about amazing opportunities and events in the region.
Kindest regards,
Alexandria

As you can see this talk is on target for many of the instream issues - I hope you all have the flexibility to change the meeting time.
