Writer
Position Type: Full Time - Regular
Locations: Corvallis, Oregon
(can be located in San Diego, CA)
We are seeking a senior technical
writer who is skilled in XML authoring. Qualified candidates will also have:
HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills.
The ideal candidate would have
the following abilities:
• To develop content:
• Skilled at authoring in
an XML Editor
• Skilled in developing content in a Content Management
System
• Some knowledge of Frame or InDesign content development
software
• Support all activities surrounding the creation, editing, and
formatting for all documentation. Documents include but are not limited to:
•
Specification documentation
• Assembly Manuals
• Operating Manuals (OV2 –
Word)
• Repair and Maintenance Manuals, (including spare part identification
through exploded parts diagrams)
• Job Aids
Required Skills:
•
HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS skills
• Adobe FrameMaker or InDesign
experience
• Excellent written and grammar skills
Education:
BA
degree or equivalent experience
