Cold Turkey Vulture

On this chilly morning amid fog and light mist, we just had a Turkey Vulture make a low flight over our yard and continuing southward along Tampico Ridge, barely clearing the tops of some tall conifers. It didn't seem to be trying to gain altitude, so it might have gone back to roost a few trees farther along, perhaps waiting for the day to warm up.
