Prairie Falcon

Today, on the north end of the Corvallis Airport, I spotted a beautiful Prairie Falcon on the ground. When it took off, it had something in its talons. A Harrier chased it, but could not catch it. Later I watched the Falcon eating while the Harrier watched from a distance. The Falcon made aggressive gestures toward the Harrier but no more interactions. Great stuff.
Later today I saw it again at the very north edge of the airport, so it may be hanging around.
