This morning Steve caught a short segment of a much longer chase between a rabbit (probably an Eastern cottontail) and a much smaller Long-tailed weasel.  I couldn't figure out a way to send the video in slo-mo so, if possible, you should try to slow it down in your system as you watch.

At the that point Steve started filming the chase had already gone across our backyard, then uphill to behind a wood pile and back across the driveway of the shop.  The birds (mostly Mourning doves) disturbed along the way was what first attracted his attention.  The action here begins at the upper left of the screen and ending at the lower right, with the rabbit crossing in front of the shop door, racing back down the slope and crossing in front of the Shasta Daisies.  The weasel follows close behind, bounding in front of the water pan.  At that point they both go out of sight.

I doubt if it ended well for the rabbit.
