Stewart Pond shoreline has specks of neon blue floating in knee-high light clouds.  Damselflies with crystal wings sparking sunlight show just the brilliant bits of turquoise when in the shade.

Got over to Horseshoe Lake yesterday for a quick look at roads end where a gate marks private land.  Birds from a 15 minute look: a couple black phoebe, acorn and downy woodpecker, yellow warbler, wood duck, pied-bill grebe, mourning dove, yellowthroat, and sora.  Odonates also swirling over extensive yellow water lily rafts, flowers of hot mustard reaching above the flat leaves.
