June 27 Bird Concert and June 28 Bird Walk

Hello,

I'm passing this along, in case you haven't heard about it already.

Kai Freuh, an enthusiastic birder and accomplished musician from Corvallis, is performing a concert June 27 at 7pm at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church and then leading a bird walk at Willamette Park on June 28 at 8am. The free concert will feature all bird themed pieces for piano as well as many of Kai's bird field recordings (and a few by other Oregon birders) to fill the space with birdsong.

As a child, Kai would attend some of the field trips Lisa and I led. I think you'll enjoy his music and learn something from his bird outing.

Kai will also be playing the program in West Linn on June 20 at 7:15 (tickets can be gotten here) and Lincoln City on July 10 at 7pm (also free admission, donations appreciated).
