Bobcat

The local bobcat has no problem going about in full daylight.  He saw this rather unaware rabbit and chased after it a bit.  They went out of sight so we don't know how it ended, but the chase didn't seem too serious.  There's so much prey here, he just may not have been that hungry.

Wow  Carma!

What a thrill to witness. It's reasonable to speculate the "he" might be a mom with kittens. She could be pressured to hunt more often, even in the day, to keep the babies fed.
