I no longer use commercial peanut butter preferring to grind my own from roasted peanuts. Winco
has a do it yourself peanut grinder back in the bulk food section.
The chicken scratch meal is from Wilco. I think it makes this a more balanced diet.
Winco has the lard, shelled sunflower seed, coarse cornmeal (polenta), baking parchment.
I no longer eat whole eggs so the calcium source is finely ground Tums antacid which is calcium carbonate.
I quit using millet.
You can vary the recipe according to your preferences.
I make up two batches, chill it in the fridge, cut it up into pie shaped wedges, freeze it and put it out in
two feeders. One is nailed to a tree for all birds.
The other is in a cage to keep starlings out.
