Cast member required for Hurst Players - Witness for the Prosecution

Jo Kearns tried to contact the Admin of this group but has had no luck (the e-mails were bounced back).  She has, therefore, asked me to send this message on her behalf

My name is Jo Kearns and I am the director of the above production which takes placed 8-12 April this year.

The play is fully cast except for one of the principal roles, Sir Wilfred Robarts, the defending counsel (Playing age 50-70 ideally).  For numerous reasons, 7 actors have turned down this lovely role and I am asking whether there's any help you can give me to find an actor through this Group, or indeed through CDS.

I have deliberately started work on this production early because of the large cast involved, and  rehearsals will commence on 15th Jan.  I have a full schedule of rehearsals prepared - rehearsals will take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings 7.30 to no later than 9.30 pm.
