Hi all

The next CDS show is in two weeks time - Alan Acykbourn's If I Were You -  a gender-bending comedy from our favourite comedy playwright.

Please help us get the word out!  Your help in sending on images to your colleagues in your society is much appreciated!
(We have broken rule 1 - always start publicity early!)

You can book easily online (seats from £7 to £9)
and you can get a special pre-show meal at Good Evening Thai or Spice Village! (only £10.95pp)

Why not ask us about a group rate and bring some friends from your group?
Or see if you can win two seats in our competition... see more below!
  • Mal and Jill are a traditional married couple whose lives are turned upside down when they mysteriously switch bodies! Deciding to hide swap from both family and friends, they try to carry on as if nothing had happened, but they each discover that life on the other side of the marital bed is not as simple as they had thought.

This light-hearted comedy fantasy will have you howling with recognition of the way that men and women are expected to behave and how little we sometimes understand each other!

Playing the lead roles are two of our top actors

  • Mal is played by Philip Robinson whose previous comedy roles include last year's "Norman" in Bridge To Farce, as well as The Prime Minister, and even Lady Bracknell.
  • Jill (originally played by Lisa Goddard) is portrayed by Lorraine Jordan, who joined CDS for Pardon Me, Prime Minister in 2016, but who has also played many leading comedy roles at the Warninglid Players
Philip and Lorraine in Pardon Me Prime Minister in 2016

Don’t miss them and the equally talented supporting cast bringing more laughs to Mid-Sussex!
