Dear all,

Please circulate details of the Warninglid Players production ’Was She Coshed?’ by Rebecca Bond

It will be performed at The Seaforth Hall, Warninglid (just off the A23) from Wed Nov 23rd to Sat Nov 26th inclusive.

Was She Coshed?’ is a very funny play set amidst the chaos and destruction of the blitz where The East Finchley Branch of the W.I. are doing their best to keep calm and carry on with their annual jam making jamboree, despite a mysterious death, scandals, intrigue and espionage and the ministrations of a very incompetent police constable...

Wednesday to Friday curtain up is at 8.00pm and Saturday at 4.00pm. (Yes you can still get home to watch Strictly Come Dancing!).

Tickets (on raked seating) are priced at £8.00 and are available via 01444 461313

Warninglid is a small village drama society but Rebecca is a talented playwright and her previous Warninglid Players production  ‘False Widows’,  was awarded runner up in The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) awards in the category ‘New Play’. (See the reviews in the Middy and at NODA!). False Widows has now been commercially published - so why not come and see her next première!

Warninglid is only mile off the A23 about half way between Haywards Heath and Horsham

  • Large and small copies of the poster attached.  The small one is good for websites and emails, the larger for printing!
