You can sign up for a month to see how you like it. Certainly some great tutorials on there. I found that I didn't use it for months at a time. So I think in the future I would just sign up for a month then cancel and do that a couple times a year - or around holidays ... Or even to view a special teacher /tutorial; While it doesn't compare to hands on face to face interaction, for $30 it is much less expensive than a class.
On summary, I do think they do a good job. The artist often do lovely designs but take their sweet time, a 10 minute face paint is nice but not realistic to line work.
