Help strengthen community services
The Department of Social Services would like your feedback on the design and delivery of community service grants.
Your feedback will:
· inform improvements in the sector
· help organisations deliver better services for people who need it most.
Submissions close Tuesday 7 November.
Have your say at Department of Social Services.
Improving women's health in Victoria
A new survey from The Department of Health is asking for feedback from Victorian women about managing a woman’s health condition.
All responses will help us to develop a new Women’s Health Program model of care. This model will define what best practice care for Victorian women and girls looks like.
The survey is available in 8 languages and closes Friday 13 October.
Complete the survey at Engage Victoria.
We want your feedback on The Orange Door
Have you:
· experienced family violence and/or
· used child and family support services, including The Orange Door?
We want to hear about your experiences of accessing these services. This will help us to understand how The Orange Door is working with the community, and how it can be improved.
Learn more at The Orange Door evaluation.
Save a life this Shocktober
Bystander intervention has the greatest impact on improving the rate of survival from cardiac arrest. We know that CPR doubles your chance of survival. Using an AED increases survival even further.
October has now been called 'Shocktober', as Ambulance Victoria encourages all Victorians to learn how to use an AED, locate their nearest AED, and sign up to become a Good Samaritan responder.
To learn CPR and how to use an AED, visit Shocktober.
