Bonjour Jamie,
Pour pouvoir voir en détail le voyage de "return-to-sender-2021-2022" j'ai modifié l'éditeur gpx afin de pouvoir lire à une vitesse raisonnable pour un tracé aussi espacé dans le temps.
Il suffit de taper http://asprominiji.cotec.free.fr/gpx/Microtransat.html et de règler la vitesse de lecture à 100000 pour voir un tracé se déroulant à une vitesse raisonnable.
Ainsi l'influence des courants de marée dans la Manche est bien visible, le bateau semble faire des ronds alors qu'en réalité il va en cap constant, on voit aussi que sa vitesse double par rapport au fond de la mer.

To view the "return-to-sender-2021-2022" voyage in detail, I modified the GPX viewer so the track—which spans a long period of time—can be played back at a reasonable speed.
Simply go to http://asprominiji.cotec.free.fr/gpx/Microtransat.html and set the playback speed to 100,000 to see the track unfold at a reasonable pace.
This clearly shows the influence of tidal currents in the English Channel: the boat appears to be circling, even though it is actually maintaining a constant heading, and you can also see its speed over ground doubling.
Si des détails autres que la vitesse au fond calculée par rapport aux points gps peuvent être intéressant à afficher, il suffit de le dire.
If there are any other details—beyond the speed over ground calculated from the GPS points—that would be useful to display, just let me know.
