Does any one knows what is a DSI and how can I get that.

We have MSTR IS installed on customer's systems and need to buy the
client licenses. For buying and installing MSTR, we are supposed to
provide the DSI information which the customer is unable to provide.

Any Idea how and where can I or the customer can get the information.

Thanks,

Kapil

Kapil,

MicroStrategy licenses are either per seat (# of users) or per Server.
If the client wants to by a per Server, then they need to provide number of
cores in the machine and clock speed of the CPUs.

That is all taken in consideration on your final price.

I never heard the term DSI but I am guessing all they need is information
about the server where you are installing the products.

Hope that helps,

Your title says DSI (Designated System Information), where did you get
this information? The only DSI that I know of is the Data Source
Information which is needed to connect to different cubes. If you
need a license, I would think you need the license to connect to cubes
or the reporting services license.

good luck,
Dante
