Hi:
I'm new to MicroStrategy administration and I've to solve the
following error:
users can't edit any existing report using web version. When trying
they're receiving the following error message:
" Error in report results
Your request could not be processed. Please try again. If the problem
persists, contact the Administrator.
(Results for this message cannot be retrieved from MicroStrategy
Intelligence Server. This might be because the execution has failed.
Please contact your administrator.)"

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Looks like a access issue. I would start my investigation with the report privileges and then in detail at privileges of all the objects used..
Action:-
right click that report and Properties.
Under SECURITY tab,  you should see
User "Everyone" Object "View" (or the particular name of the user with view or modify)

if you are past this step, you would do the same on all attributes, Filters, Metrics used in this report.

Good Luck ! ! !

Regards,

Raj

Hi,

This sounds like a user privilege problem.Make sure if the user trying to change the report web has Web professional or atleast web reporter privilege.

Thanks,
Vishal

Thanks. In fact it was an error in log area and swap control. I
solved it increasing 'Maximun RAM for working Set cache(Kbytes)'. It
can be accessed in menu item: Administration -> Server->Configure
Microestrategy Intelligent Server->Governing->Working Set
