Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Systems
Messaging Engineer to design, develop and implement Enterprise Domino Messaging
Solutions in an existing environment. The candidate will be required to
understand related disciplines such as Domino lotus script & development,
network, storage, security, and disaster recover planning.
Responsibilities:
-Develops custom Domino databases using Domino development technics to automate
administration functions for mailbox management and message retention.
-Reviews and documents existing Enterprise Domino Messaging & Application
Server Environment including developing engineering diagrams.
-Evaluates and tests software upgrades for Domino Message & Application
Servers, Blackberry Enterprise Servers and Sametime Servers. Documents upgrade
process and provide support during implementation.
-Develops the process to test and implement new software features and products
that strengthen the Messaging infrastructure, security and end-user client
experience.
-Provides Level 3 support for Domino Server & Client, Blackberry Enterprise
Server, Lotus Traveler and Sametime Applications
-Reviews and documents existing Enterprise Mobility environment (Lotus Traveler
& Blackberry Enterprise Solution). Analyzes and recommends platform
improvements where applicable.
Required Qualifications
-Minimum 8 years experience as a Domino Administrator/Developer (experience
with 7 and 8.5) including architecting/designing Lotus Notes Infrastructures.
-Engineering & Support Experience required Domino Messaging/Application
Server clustering & partitioning.
-Experience with AIX and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
-Familiarity with implementing mobility solutions including Lotus Traveler
& Blackberry Enterprise Servers
-Familiarity with Good Technology, IPhone, IPAD, & Droids a plus.
-Excellent oral, written, and project management skills.
-Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
-Strong troubleshooting skills and an understanding of time management
