If you recently purchased the Xbox before the two game
bundle, your not necessarily screwed. I bought mine just
over a month ago from Sears. Then a week and a half later
they anounced the bundle. F*(&%, I thought, but hold on.
I'll just RETURN it, get my $ back and buy the new one at
same price with 2 games. Well, it's been over a month and
Sears still doesn't have the bundle. I've told them what
and why I'm trying to do. They then told me to keep my
Xbox I have now and come back when they have the bundle.
I told them I had only one day left to return it on there
1mo. RETURN policy. They said yes, but we have a 3mo.
EXCHANGE policy. So I can keep my xbox for another two
months and still take it back and get the bundle when they
get it in (any day now).

So, if you recently bought the Xbox before the bundle,
check your store's EXCHANGE policy. You very well may be
able to take it back and get a new one with $100 more
merchendise. Buy a memory unit first, and copy all your
game data off your first xbox to transfer to your new one.

Sears had always been notoriously good about standing behind the products
they sell and being very leniant with their return/exchange policies.
Unfortunately, this is about the only good things Sears has going for it.

For all you Canadians out there, if you have purchased your Xbox at Future
Shop and purchased the extended warranty you can pretty much get
over-the-counter exchange without a hassle. Good idea is to wait till the
Warranty is almost over and then exchange for an Xbox with updated drivers
and everything, or just for the bundle hehe.

I agree, stay away from their appliances. Not that the quality is bad, they
just don't know how to ship anything without damaging it.

Uhhh...damn! Way to go Sears! That's almost unbelieveably cool of them.
