I saw a movie
(http://students.luther.edu/%7Ehansbe01/LocoPuyoComDamnationMegaMelee.wmv)
which "shows how to get on top of the whole level and perform the longest
and fastest melee jump in Halo history," but i can't figure out how to shoot
the rocket and grenade, to propel myself up there, without getting killed.
i can't even do it with the overshield. how do he do it in the video clip?
does anyone know this trick?

Thanks, Brad

Modify game settings, put 400 health on your guys. Extra shields.
grenade at your feet, just when it is about to explode (memorize timing)
shoot rocket at the imact spot, jump in the air while doing this (so shoot
at your feet) and plan your trajectory, voila, you are up there, takes some
practice.

why are u attempting to bomb yourself up there?
have any of you tried it?

you are talking about on top of the water fall right?

your supposed to have one guy in the teleporter looking down in the center

with another guy running in from the outside to the left side of the teleporter
and at the last second when the screen is turning white
the person inside the teleporter jumps up

and the guy gets teleported to high point on the map

and from there you just make your way up

Oh, I thought you were on PC. Well, you can mod your Xbox, which is
basically hacking. It voids your warranty, though, and if a Microsoft guy
finds you on Xbox Live, he'll kick you off.

There is no Halo PC newsgroup, so all Halo players use this one, whether
they play on PC or Xbox. It's only called Xbox to imply that it's a gaming
newsgroup.

Actually there is alt.games.halo which could be considered the PC group.

And if you go on Live with a modded box you don't get kicked, you get banned
for life. If you want to mod your box and still play Live you can get a chip
with an on/off switch.
