Ninja Gaiden is an experiment soft of using Ryu, so that's why he didn't use
the popular Kasumi. But now if he has the chance, he won't deny the
possibility to use Kasumi.
When asked what inspiration he get for DOA, he said Jann Lee is inspired by
Bruce Lee. He has been influnced much by a Ninja Manga, he even asked the
writer for advise. Tai Chi Quan etc. he also has studied deeply.
About the most unqiue female DOA Character, Itagaki said having researched,
155cm female are most popular for Asian. According what he understand, it
seems many westeners like that as well, quite out of his expectation.
About players pointing out that Ayane as the most popular character on Xbox
Live, he said this is most likely because the chance of winning with her is
the highest.
Also, Itagaki mentioned, there will be a Hurricane Pack 3 coming for Ninja
Gaiden, the last one for the current xbox.
