Why the heck ANYONE other than some kind of nut would want to ruin a great
game machine like the X-box to run Linux is beyond comprehension.

As I understand it, you don't have to 'ruin' it. I believe you can add
linux without destroying the original functionality. BTW - it is a cheap
733mhz celeron system.
But the best way to run linux, is with a larger drive, if the drive isnt
the one thats bound to your bios, you get banned off X-box live, when
multiplayer is one of the best things about Halo
What? No Firewire or USB2 available on the Xbox?
The drive doesn't need to be internal.
