Windows application hangs when running report

Hi,
A new report was created which runs ok in the test system. Installed it into
the Live system and it runs ok in the console environment but when run in
windows the application hangs. No error message.
I tried to create a new report through report generator but when you go to
save it the application hangs. Same issue as above.
Only seems to be a problem with adding or creating new files. And it only
happens in the Windows environment. The console environment is running ok.
Anybody have any ideas to what could be the problem? And how it can be fixed?

Hello Ellen,

Make sure that you have proper permissions in the production environment.
Try to test whether you can create another user modification in the
production environment - e.g. a XAL run and save it.

Please state XAL kernel version and application version.
