Hi,

the size of an SQL db is not the same in DB status in General module
(General/Register -> Database status) and in General/Set up -> Dev. meny ->
DBD/Various -> SQL ->Maintenance -> Calculation-> Controll or Update.

The difference does not dissappear even when you do an update of the db
size. Isn't the update supposed to update the calculated to the real
database size?

This creates problems for those who are dependent of having control over the
db size.
Can anything be done to have more exact db status?

Hello NHL,

The result of the kernel based updating caculation is only exposed in
General/Table -> Database status, and this is the size that the license
validation is based on.
There is an error in the application based calulation (which does not
update), but the error results in larger database sizes reported than
actually updated by the kernel based updation calculation - so you will be
on the safe side.
