Works 4.0 Clip Art Gallery Install Problem

I am having trouble installing the Clip Art Gallery 5.0 with Works 4.0 on 1
machine.

I have reinstalled, removed, installed completely from scratch various times
but each time on this machine only it tells me that the application is not
available. The option is checked but is is not installing or something
other is interferring with the installation.

Other than the Clip Art Gallery everything else is fine.

Any suggestions?

Margaret if you are expecting to see the ClipArt Gallery 3 or 4 with Works
4.x you will not. As the ClipArt Gallery is a shared component the ClipArt
Gallery 5 will work with Works 4.x

Do you not have the free update to Works 4.5a installed?
If you go to menu Help then About what version does it state you have.

We have Works 4.0a for Windows 95. There are other computers in the school
that are using the same version and the clip art works. For some reason the
clip art does not work on this one machine. I even uninstalled, reinstalled
Works in a new directory and it still did not work.

Well for a start you will need the Y2K update which is *much* more than just
a Y2K update. It is a full patch and brings Works up to 4.5a. This should
be applied to all computers you have Works 4.x installed to as the
improvement in all areas is significant, one being the ClipArt Gallery.
