My old computer had only MIcrosoft works and I could
access the Microsoft Clip Art Gallery. I used it a lot
in writing letters to friends and reminder memos to
groups. My computer crashed this spring and I bought a
new Windows XP /Home from Gateway. It came loaded with
Works and Wordperfect. The ClipArt Gallery that came
with my new software is a tiny fraction of what I used to
have and I can no longer access the Microsoft Clip Art
Gallery, as I used to do with the old software. Why is
that?

You need to have Microsoft Clip Gallery or Clip Organizer in order to
download Clips. The clipart included with works doesn't use Microsoft Clip
Gallery. The clips are viewed with a different viewer.

Dear Paul,
perhaps you can tell me how to add clipart to Works 7's clipart gallery. to
me it seems a closed system, but in the categries I find "My Collection", so
somehow import is possible.

There apparently is no way to add clips to the my collection
category, at least not one I can find and the help file has no reference to
any way to import clips into the collection. I use Microsoft Clip Gallery
and Clip Organizer for Clipart. I will Post this question to Works MVP Kevin
