I've just migrated my 89-year-old father-in-law to a Vista computer (from an
8-year-old XP machine). He's pretty game, but he'd rather keep the same
versions of software so he doesn't have to learn new tricks. He's using
MSWorks 4.5. It works, EXCEPT for the printer. When he tries to print, he
gets an "out of memory" error.
I've checked and the printer driver is up-to-date.
I don't know much about Vista (mostly an XP man, myself). Is there a way to
emulate XP or do something else so that the printer will work and he can use
Works 4.5 in Vista?
Thanks.
