Filtering options when making labels

I have Works 8.5 on a vista system ... I have a history file that I had
created and ave been using for quite a while for printong christmas card
labels, and today when I tried to use the mail merge and select names it will
not pull over all the names I have selected. I think the probllem is in the
Filtering options area because when I tried to make a label for just 1 name I
got an error message " there are no entries sin your mail merge list that
match the filter options for this document" I went ito filter options and
nothing is in there but I hit the clear filter button anyways and still does
not fix. I even tried to create a new document and start over but it still
happens. Please Help!!!!!
