Update Styles

Hi there,

i copy text associated with the style "standard" from one document to
a new one. both documents looks totally equal then, although the
standard style in the new document has different settings (Arial
instead of Times New Roman).
Is it somehow possible that the pasted text uses the "new" style?

As a matter of fact, in my case it works exactly the opposite: pasting
a paragraph with style XX to a new document in which style XX is
defined differently, the paragraph takes the formatting of the new
document. O believe the trick is in the paste option button, displayed
after the paste operation: clicking on ot, there are a number of
options displayed: keep original formatting, use destination styles,
use destination formatting etc. selecting "use destination styles£
should give tou the solution to your problem
