I have a form that has a field called name. Once I enter the information in
the field, I would like that name to automatically be placed in several
places on the form letter rather than having to enter the name multiple
times. Here is an example:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Dear [ ]

I would like to thank you, ______ for the birthday gift. _____, the next
time you are in Dallas, please call me.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Dear [John]

I would like to thank you, John for the birthday gift. John, the next time
you are in Dallas, please call me.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Any ideas?

A simple solution would be to put an unusual string of characters in the
field (say 4*6). Then use the Find and Replace function in Word to insert
the name. Find and Replace is under the Edit button.
