When I open Word 2000, whether by clicking on its icon or by
double clicking on a document title, I get two error messages
in boxes/mini windows:

Microsoft Office Web Search
Your selection could not be looked up. You must have a
web browser installed and a network connection to use
Look Up.
This happens even when I am connected to the internet. After I
click on ok, I get
Microsoft Visual Basic
Run-time error "5"
Invalid procedure call or argument

For a while, I was getting additional VB error messages and
winding up with a blank Word screen (no tool bar or anything)
and unable to use Word. Things went back to the two error
messages after I went into Explorer, clicked on view folder
options, got to the screen where I could change the command
associated with docs to have a "/n"

Is there some easy solution where I can avoid being slowed down
by these two meaningless messages?

Thanks,

Marty
