Can someone tell me the Newsgroup name of MS Word2002. I can't find it and
I have a question. Thanks.

I guess the only reason for the creation of the word97vba newsgroup was
because there was a distinct change in the programming language introduced
with the version, Visual Basic (for) Applications (VBA) where previous
versions had used Word Basic. All versions since Word97 have used the same
basic VBA programming language, albeit with a few enhancements in later
versions.

If your questions concerns programming/use of macros, then the vba.general
newsgroup would be the best choice. If it is about some other feature of
the software, there are a number of special subject newsgroups - application
errors, formatting.longdocs, drawing.graphics, international features, mail,
mailmerge.fields, numbering, pagelayout, spelling.grammar and tables. There
is also a docmanagement group that gets all or most of the general questions
as that is the one where the Help facility directs you. However, none of
them are version specific, so just choose the one that suits your question
best.
