I wrote a program in VB to manipulate a Word document. It was developed on a
W2000 system, ran OK on an XP system but now gives an error on a Vista
system.

Runtime error -214717851 (80010105)

Method '~' of object '~' failed

I have checked with the customer and Vista does display the "~" symbols.

The program accesses a Word document and does some manipulation on a copy of
the document.

Specific question are :-
1. Does anyone know what runtime error 80010105 means?
2. Is it possible to get Vista to tell which method in which object is
upsetting it?
3. Do VB programs developed on a W2000 system run on a Vista system?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
