I'm working on a mail merge process that will be started in Access.
When users click a button, they follow a hyperlink to a letter that has
been saved as a mail merge document with the merge fields and Data
Source already set. It is password protected so users can't save
changes to it.

When the document opens, I'd like it to:
1. Open read only without a prompt (assuming I can hold down shift to
get into it for edits when I need to).
2. Mail merge to a new document
3. Close the original document without prompting a save.
Can anyone help me? I am clueless about coding in Word.
