Can we modify the Table Normal Style?

Hi Anand

I assume this is Word 2002? I can't find a way to enable modifying Table Normal from the Table Auto Format dialog or from within the
Styles and Formatting task pane itself. But you can still modify it.

To modify the Table Normal style, Format > Styles and Formatting. At the bottom of the Styles and Formatting pane, click the Show
box and choose Custom. Click the Styles button, choose Table Normal from the list, click Modify and make your changes.

I don't think it can be modified. Other table styles that
come with Word, yes; but not this one.

The problem is not sorted out because "Modify" button is
locked in particular style.

I'm also seeing Table Normal not permitting modification, but you could
create a new table based on Table Normal (by clicking New...) and then set
that as your default Table AutoFormat.
