I have created a protected form template and am trying to provide the
facility for the sum of a range of cells to auto calculate after the user
exists each of the cells in a column. The range for calculation is d7:d31.
I can see how I can create the formula and the table will calculate after
creation of the formula but I need the total to recalculate each time the
user exists one the cells in the range above.

Can anyone provide any help here. I am not familiar with VB but am willing
to learn.

Regards

Hi Paul,

If you can put up with the restrictions imposed by protecting the document
for formfields, if you insert formfields in to cells D7:D31, with the
calculate on exit property set for each one and you use a calculation
formfield to hold the result, the the result will be updated automatically
as ou enter data into each of the cells.

Please post any follow-up or new questions to the Newsgroups so that others
may benefit therefrom or contribute thereto.

Hope this helps,
