Spell check works (red highlight) in lower case but not
in upper case. Don't understand why. Have problem when
using caps for titles, bullet points, etc. Onlay way to
get around it is to do everything in lower case and then
use format command.

Try tools|options|spelling and uncheck "ignore words in
uppercase."
