| I deployed Office 2003 in a network of about 50 workstations. Two of the
workstations have slow response to typing in Word 2003 5-10 second delay).
This happens with network shared files as well as local files. It also
appears to be user/computer dependant. When the user of a slow workstation
logs on to a different machine, they can use word. When a different user
logs onto a slow machine word will work. When the problem user logs in to
a problem computer, but opens Word in safe mode it works. I have
reinstalled Office, and removed the user profile.
