Hello,
Together with a fontdesigner I created an Opentype font with numbers for
easy changing numbes to inverse or boxed with hairlines.
But unfurtunatly the font does not act as good as he does e.g. in InDesign.
When I want to change the number, the whole feature gets lost and I have to
type in again the whole procedere.
The font is scripted to act with brackets:

[58] would produce an boxed number
[[58]] gives me the inverse number

When I want to change 58 to e.g. 48, delete the 4, I will loose the feature
and have to delete everything to start again ..[..58..]

How can I report this to Microsoft to get this beheavior changed in a future
servicepack?
Is there also a webforum at MS to report things around fonts?

What you describe is a function of the application being used.
InDesign is an Adobe product having nothing to do with Microsoft.
Either contact Adobe directly, or go to forums.Adobe.com and select
the InDesign forum to post your questions.

I believe Michael is saying that the font doesn't function as well in Word
as it does in InDesign. Word has never offered OpenType support at all until
Word 2010, and from all reports it isn't outstanding even in that version.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am using Word 2010, and this version does
support Open Type features.
Our generated font does what he supposed to do, either with "contextual
alternates" or "Style Sets", it only act not as good as it should when I
change the characters.
Is there a new Microsoft Newsgroup to post the font that people at Microsoft
can have a look at it?
